SIOUX FALLS, S.D. — South Dakota State's Caiden Fredrick earns Kwik Star Summit League Men's Field Peak Performer of the Week, as announced by the league on Tuesday afternoon.
Fredrick earns this honor after winning the weight throw competition at the SDSU Classic last Friday evening. The junior posted a mark of 67-00.50 (20.43m), besting teammate Ethan Fischer, the second-place finisher, by nearly six feet. Fredrick's throw was only 9.25 inches off of his personal record, which he achieved at the Summit League Indoor Championship last year.
