SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – South Dakota State senior McKenzie Mages was selected for the latest Kwik Star Summit League Peak Golfer of the Week accolade, League officials announced Wednesday. Mages garnered her sixth career weekly award.
Mages finished runner-up at the Jackrabbits Invitational as the top Summit League finisher at the event, setting a new program record with a 54-hole total of 211. The senior posted two rounds of 69 (-3) during the tournament to lead the way.
The Sioux Falls, S.D., native carded 12 birdies in the event, pushing the Jacks to a second-place team finish at the home tournament.
