ABILENE, Texas - The South Dakota State women's golf team is in second place following the first two rounds of the West Texas Classic.

The Jackrabbit team is +12 through 36 holes. Bowling Green is leading the field, ahead of SDSU by four shots at +8.

McKenzie Mages is pacing the Jacks with a +1 two-round scorecard and is tied for fourth place on the individual leaderboard. She shot even-par through the first 18 holes and tallied six birdies on the day.

Hannah Boraas is one shot back from Mages (+2) and is tied for ninth place. She tallied an eagle during the first lap on hole seven.

Riko Danjo is tied for 16th place (+4), followed by
Molly O'Hara in a tie for 21st place (+5).
Reese Jansa is in a tie for 25th place (+6) and tallied an eagle during her second lap on hole 13.

- SDSU leads the field as a team on par-5 holes, averaging 4.70 shots per par-5.
- Hannah Boraas is tied for first on par-5 holes. She is averaging 4.33 strokes per par-5.
- SDSU has 24 birdies so far, which is third among all teams.
