HOLLISTER, M.O. - The South Dakota State women's golf team is in seventh place after the first round of the Ozarks National Invitational hosted by Missouri State, which was played Monday.Â
McKenzie Mages is pacing the Jacks with a +6 scorecard, tied in 18th place overall.Â
Hannah Boraas,
Molly O'Hara and
Riko Danjo are all one shot back from Mages (+7), in a tie for 28th after the first 18 holes.
Reese Jansa is tied in 42nd place (+10).Â
Samantha Stites is competing individually for the Jacks this week. She has a 6-over scorecard and is tied with Mages in 18th place, tallying three birdies on the day.Â
As a team, the Jackrabbits are +27 after one round. Host Missouri State leads the field at 15-over. Summit League foe South Dakota is ahead of SDSU in second place at +20, respectively.Â
NOTES
- SDSU tied for fifth-best on par-4 and par-5 holes. The Jackrabbits averaged 4.50 shots per par-4 and 5.20 shots per par-5 hole.Â
- Hannah Boraas is tied for first on par-3 holes, averaging 2.80 shots (-1).Â
