KEY STORYLINES
- SDSU goes into Saturday having won eight straight games, a streak that includes an 82-49 win over USD in the regular season finale.
- Following Thursday's win, SDSU is 42-5 all-time in the Summit League Tournament with 12 tournament titles, including each of the last three.
- The Jacks have been the No. 2 seed four times previously and advanced to the championship all four times. SDSU has won three championship titles as the No. 2 seed.
- SDSU has reached 20 wins for the 15th consecutive season. SDSU is one of only a handful of programs with an active streak that long (Baylor, UConn, Louisville, South Carolina).
- Seniors Brooklyn Meyer and Madison Mathiowetz highlighted SDSU's all-conference selections, both as first-team honorees. Meyer was also named to the all-defensive team. This marks the third straight year SDSU had three players named to the first team.
- Paced by Brooklyn Meyer's .655 individual field goal percentage, which ranks third in the country, SDSU is seventh in the nation as a team at .488.
- Brooklyn Meyer surpassed 2,000 career points and became South Dakota State's single-season scoring leader in Thursday's win over Kansas City (lists on page 6/7)
- Brooklyn Meyer is one of two players in the country averaging 20+ points and shooting better than 60% (Audi Crooks, Iowa State).
- Maddie Mathiowetz averages 13.5 PPG on the year. She has scored at least 15 points in 10 of the last 14 games and at least 20 in three of the last five.
- Emilee Fox is the No. 1 3-point shooter in the nation at an even .490 clip on the year. She scores 8.4 points per game.
- As a starter (last eight games), Hadley Thul contributes 9.4 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.8 assists while shooting 54%. She is the Jackrabbits' third leading scorer in that stretch.
