SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - Two members of the South Dakota State women's golf program were recognized with all-conference honors by the Summit League office Friday. The teams were selected by a vote of the League's eight head coaches.
McKenzie Mages was named to the All-Summit First Team and
Riko Danjo earned a spot on the All-Summit Freshman Team.
Mages averages 73.5 shots per round in her senior season, the best scoring average in the Summit League this year and third best single-season scoring average in SDSU history. The Sioux Falls native has had the top finish for the Jackrabbits in every event this season, including two individual victories. Mages set the program record for 54 holes with a 211 at the Jackrabbits Invitational earlier this spring. She currently ranks second in program history for career wins (four), third in career top-five finishes (nine) and tied for fourth in career top-10 finishes (15).
Danjo averages 76.1 shots per round this year, the top mark among the Summit League's freshmen. She has played in all 10 events for the Jackrabbits this season and has one top-10 finish.
