JACKRABBITS CLAIM NABC ACCOLADES

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The South Dakota State men's basketball team is one of over 400 programs across college basketball to receive National Association of Basketball Coaches the organization announced on Wednesday. Five members of the Jackrabbits' program during the 2025-26 season were also recognized as NABC Honors Court recipients.

The NABC Team Academic Excellence Awards recognize programs that completed the 2025-26 academic year with a team GPA of 3.0 or higher. The NABC Honors Court, meanwhile, includes junior, senior and graduate student men's basketball players who finished the 2025-26 year with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher. The NABC's academic awards are presented annually to teams and athletes from all levels of college basketball.

SDSU's men's squad recorded a cumulative 3.54 GPA over the course of the 2025-26 academic year.

Over 2,300 players earned spots on the NABC Honors Court. The Jackrabbits' contingent of honorees includes Caleb Delzell, Kalen Garry, Matthew Mors, Joe Sayler and Damon Wilkinson.
