SMSU scored the first two points of the game, but SDSU answered with a 10-0 run and then continued to build its lead to as high as 19 points in the first half before taking a 13 point, 41-28 lead into the lockerroom.
The Jacks increased their lead a game-high 28 points in the second half before eventually reaching the final 25-point margin.
The Jacks now turn their attention to Nevada, who also played and won at home on Tuesday against a lower level team, as the Wolf Pack downed Fresno-Pacific 89-67.
