The South Dakota State women's swimming team won 13 of 14 events en route to 174-52 dual victory over Iowa Central Friday night at the HPER Center Pool.
Sophomore Lexi Temperley was a double-event winner for the Jackrabbits, sweeping the 50- and 200-yard butterfly with respective times of 29.56 seconds and 2:19.27.
Kelsey Boucher won the 1,000 freestyle with a time of 10:52.94, with Morgan McLain adding a victory in the 200 freestyle with a time of 1:56.43.
In the backstroke events, Jessica Ferley won the 50-yard race in 27.82 seconds., while Kali Temperley won the 200-yard event with at time of 2:14.82.
Kaitlyn Hemmingson won the 50-yard breaststroke in 31.18 seconds.
SDSU swimmers swept the freestyle sprints as Samantha Fossum won the 50 in 25.18 seconds and Selina Gilbertson won the 100-yard race in 55.96 seconds.
Melissa Mielke won the 500-yard freestyle in a time of 5:51.59 and Emma Wright closed out the individual victories for the Jackrabbits by winning the 200 individual medley in a time of 2:16.05.
The 400-yard medley relay team of Katie Newberger, Abbey Wharton, Lexi Temperley and Kylie Poel won with a time of 4:12.81.
The 400-yard freestyle relay team of Ferley, Fossum, Shauna Foor and McLain won in a time of 3:39.27.
The women's swimming and diving team will be back in action Saturday in a home double dual against Nebraska-Omaha and Northern Iowa at 2 p.m.
