The Jacks and the Bulldogs are meeting for the 11th time in program history. Fresno State leads the series 8-2 with the last meeting on Sept. 23, 2017 when SDSU traveled to Fresno.

Scouting SDSU
South Dakota State is coming into the weekend ranked No. 10, which is the first time the team has been ranked since the 2013-14 season. The Jacks defeated South Carolina, 15-4 on Oct. 13.

The Jacks started off strong in Equitation over Fences with a 3-2 win in the discipline.
Claire Garduno scored a career-high 76 with a victory over Lizzie van der Walde's 72. Senior
Taylor Duerr defeated Madison Sellman, 69-65, while
Jacey Chorlton topped Chloe Schmidt, 83-80.

In Equitation on the Flat, Chorlton upended Lauren Fabiano, 86-85. Duerr and
Matilyn Skinner won the final points for the Hunt Seat.

On the Western side, SDSU was victorious with a 9-0 overall score.
Whitney Vesey upended Quinn Brandt, 70.5-69.5, while
Mariah Wright won her first point in Horsemanship, 74-72.5. Senior
Nichole Zazula won her first point with MOP honors and
Jordan Gates claimed a victory over Paige Stopperich.

The Jacks swept the Gamecocks, 5-0 in Reining with
Miranda Sullivan claimed MOP accolades.
Madison Sullivan defeated Jordan Scott, 69.5-68.5 and Wright upended Carolina Gute, 97.5-65.
Catelyn Hall and Gates both won their points to round out the victory.
Scouting Fresno State
Fresno State comes into the weekend after a two-week break. The Bulldogs lost to Georgia, 10-8 in a close matchup at home.

In Equitation on the Flat, Alexandra Dirickson and Sierra Swaffar won the two points in the discipline, while Natalie Wendt and Kylina Chalack both tied their points.

Georgia won Equitation over Fences, 3-2. Swaffar defeated Maddy Darst, 82-80, while Chalack topped Meghan Flanaga, 79-65.

On the Western side, Alexis Miller and Taylor Dixon were victorious in Horsemanship, but the team fell short in a 3-2 loss.

Paige Barton and Shea Gilson won the finals points for the Bulldogs in Reining.
