LAS VEGAS—The South Dakota State men's golf team tied for ninth Saturday at the 8th annual Jackrabbit Invitational.
The defending champion Jackrabbits shot an 869 (285-287-297) on the par-72, 6,105-yard Siena Golf Club. Nevada won the 12-team tournament, firing an 823 (277-266-280).
Senior
Trevor Tobin led the Jackrabbits, tying for 35th (68-73-78=219). Senior
Grant Smith (77-71-72=220) and freshman
Alejandro Restrepo (77-71-72=220) tied for 39th.
Sophomore
Alejandro Perazzo (77-74-71=222) tied for 44th and classmate
Jaxon Lynn (74-74-75=223) tied for 48th.
Playing as individuals, freshman
Jacob Otta tied for 42nd (71-78-72=221), junior
Zach Sackett tied for 59th (76-78-76=230), junior
Naqiuddin Fuad tied for 61st (81-77-76=234) and junior
Michael Duch finished 67th (80-86-82=248).
