COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho—In her first collegiate action of the season, sophomore
Teresa Toscano of the South Dakota State women's golf team tied the school record for 18 holes Wednesday at the Coeur D'Alene Collegiate.

The Jackrabbits finished 13th, shooting a season-low 887 (298-295-294) on the par 71, 6,088-yard Coeur d'Alene Resort Golf Course. Colorado won the event, firing an 834. Kirsty Hodgins of CU won the individual title, shooting a 203 (68-65-70).

Toscano, who had the second-lowest round of the day, jumped 30 spots on the leaderboard after shooting a three-under par 68 in the final round. She finished with a 216 (74-74-68) and 11 birdies. Toscano tied her own school record originally set in the Jackrabbit Invitational last March. Former teammates

Hallie Getz along with Sydney MacDonald have shot 68s.
