South Dakota State equestrian will face University of Minnesota Crookston Saturday at 9 a.m. in a scrimmage meet.

SDSU is 1-1 on the year after splitting a pair of meets Oct. 11. This will be the team's first home meet of the season. This will also be the Jacks first meeting with the Golden Eagles being part of the IHSA after being a member of the NCEA last year.

All-Time Series
This will be the 14^th matchup between the Jacks and the Golden Eagles. SDSU is 12-1 all-time against Minnesota Crookston, winning the last 11 matchups dating back to March 22, 2010.

The Jacks are coming off a 9-5 loss to UT Martin and a 6-3 Hunt Seat victory over Sweet Briar.

Freshman Alexa Maiello earned the lone MOP for the Jackrabbits with an 81-79 win over her Sweet Briar opponent in Equitation over Fences.

Scouting Minnesota Crookston
The Western team participated in their only showing of the year Oct. 20-21. Junior Whitney Fenna was named Reserve High Point rider and earned first in Reining.
