DALLAS, Texas – The South Dakota State equestrian team falls to SMU, 15-5 Saturday evening at the Dallas Equestrian Center.

Matilyn Skinner topped Nora Gray, 73-69 in Equitation on the Flat for the first point of the meet. Jacey Chorlton scored a season-high 87 to upend Vivian Yowan's 76 en route to garnering MOP accolades.

The Mustangs swept Equitation over Fences, 5-0. Sydney House had a season-best 74 in a loss to Brett Burlington.

On the Western side, Jordan Gates dropped Haylee Schoonover, 71.5-71 in Horsemanship. Rylee Streit captured the second point of the discipline with a 71.5-63 victory.

Catelyn Hall won the lone point in Reining with a 70.5-63 defeat over Jill Pfisthner.
