NEWTON, Kan.—The South Dakota State men's golf team ended the 2017-18 season Tuesday, finishing eighth at the 2018 Summit League Championship.
The Jackrabbits shot a final-round 314 (308-330-314=952) on the par-72, 6,733-yard Sand Creek Station Golf Course. North Dakota State won the eight-team championship, shooting an 893 (294-314-285). Fort Wayne's Zach Schroeder led start to finish to win the individual title with a 214 (70-75-69).
Alejandro Perazzo and
Jacob Otta shot 237s for the tournament and tied for 28th. Perazzo shot a final-round 77 (74-86-77) while Otta fired an 80 (79-78-80).
Jared Nicolls and
Max Donohue tied for 33rd after shooting 239s. Nicolls shot a 78 (78-83-78) and Donohue a 79 (77-83-79) in the final round.
Jaxon Lynn finished 40
th (86-87-88=261).
