The South Dakota State equestrian team hosts No. 4 Texas A&M Saturday at 9 a.m. in its first meet of Spring Semester.
The Jacks (1-1) will be looking for their first victory over Texas A&M (4-2) in program history, having gone 0-5 in all previous matchups. Dating back to 2009, SDSU has faced the Aggies twice at home, twice away and once at a neutral location.
After having been ranked as high as 10th in the NCEA Farnam Rankings for a couple weeks early in the season, the Jackrabbits will be facing their first ranked opponent of the season in Texas A&M.
Looking Ahead
After only a pair of meets in the Fall, the Jacks turn the schedule around with six meets before the UEC Championships March 22-23, and then the NCEA Nationals April 17-20. After Saturday's meet, the Jackrabbits will have one more home meet of the season, hosting TCU Feb. 15.
What's Next
The team will travel to Auburn, AL to take on Auburn and UT Martin Feb. 9 at 10 a.m.
