The South Dakota State equestrian team eyes two meets this weekend in Auburn, AL, both against top-10 opponents in UT Martin and Auburn.
The Jacks (1-2) goes head-to-head with No. 10 UT Martin (3-5) Friday at 11 a.m. at the Auburn University Equestrian Center. SDSU is 5-10 all-time against UT Martin, dropping the most recent matchup between the two programs 9-5 in October 2018.
Saturday, the team will face No. 1 Auburn (7-0) at 11 a.m. to wrap up the weekend. The Jacks will be looking for their first victory over Auburn in program series history, having lost all four previous matchups dating back to 2006. The last meeting between the two squads came in 2013.
What's Next
The Jacks will host TCU in the team's final home meet of the season Friday Feb. 15 at 8 a.m.
