LINCOLN, Neb. –
Jared Nicolls shared individual honors at the Git-R-Done Husker Invitational Saturday as the South Dakota State men's golf team finished in third place.

Nicolls finished the day 2-under, firing a 140 (67-73) to finish in a first-place tie among the 45-player field, netting 11 birdies along the way.

As a team, the Jackrabbits shot a 593 (288-305) at the par-71, 7,025-yard Firethorn Golf Club to finish third among the six-team field. Arkansas won the event, shooting a 1-under-par 567 (290-277). Tyson Reeder of Arkansas finished tied with Nicolls.

Jacob Otta tied for 12th, shooting a 150 (74-76) to finish 8-over.

Alejandro Perazzo (76-79),
Jonah Dohrer (71-84) and
Harry Duggan (78-77) all tied for 28th, shooting a 13-over score of 155.

Jaxon Lynn and
Sam Batta played as individuals, finishing 37th and tied for 41st, respectively. Lynn shot a 21-over score of 163 (82-81) while Batta shot a 167 (87-80) to finish 25-over.

The Jacks will compete in the Hawkeye Invitational April 20-21 in Iowa City, Iowa to close the team's regular season.
