COLUMBIA, Mo. - South Dakota State men's golf finished in ninth place at the Missouri Tiger Invitational.Â
After finishing the first two rounds tied for 10th place with a score of 596 (+20), State concluded play at the invitational with its best round, shooting 287 (-1) to improve its team score to 883 (+19).
Individually, Liam Georgiadis led all Jackrabbits by placing tied for 10th with a score of 213 (-3). Georgiadis, who sat tied for 24th place after two rounds, improved his score each round and finished the third with 4-under 68.Â
Jack Tanner tied for 21st place, finishing even par in the final two rounds for a total score of 217 (+1).Â
James Temple tied for 44th place with a score of 224 (+8). Finishing tied for 61st, Matthew Schaefer capped off play with his best score in the third round, posting a 2-over 74 to improve his individual score to 229 (+13).
Will Frazier shot a 2-over 74 in the final round as he placed 72nd with a score of 236 (+20).Â
Missouri claimed both the team and individual titles with a team score of 839 (-25) and Ross Steelman's individual score of 200 (-16).Â
