The South Dakota State soccer program was represented by six Jackrabbits on the 2024-25 Academic All-District teams, selected by College Sports Communicators this past week. The Academic All-District teams recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom.Â
Â
Chosen as Academic All-District team recipients were
Katelyn Beulke,
Emma Knack,
Lauren Eckerle,
Avery LeBlanc,
Kaycee Manding and
Avery Murdzek.Â
Â
Beulke, Knack and Eckerle all sport 4.0 grade-point averages and claimed their first Academic All-District team honors. LeBlanc was picked to the Academic All-District team for the first time during her college career after a five-goal season. Manding and Murdzek are now three-time Academic All-District selections.Â
Â
The six were all major contributors to South Dakota State's run to earning the program's second consecutive Summit League Tournament championship. The Jackrabbits have won a total of nine conference tournament titles in the program's history.Â
Â
Academic All-District honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America ballot. The national ballot of First-, Second- and Third-Team Academic All-America honorees will be announced on Dec. 11.Â
