The South Dakota State women's golf team opens its spring season at the Sun Coast Invitational hosted by Michigan State Sunday in Sarasota, Florida. The two-day, 54-hole tournament will be played at the Palm Aires Champions Course. Both days will begin with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. ET.Â
Molly O'Hara will play in the No. 1 spot for the Jackrabbits, followed by Piper Stubbs, Alex Kandolin, Shakira-Ann Kuys and Reese Jansa.Â
The Jackrabbits are coming off a fall season that included three top-three finishes in four events played. Most recently the squad placed second at the Tommie Invitational in Minneapolis October 10-12. Through the fall season, Stubbs averaged 75.09 shots per round to lead SDSU.Â
