AMES, IOWA —Brandon Kampsen posts a personal record in the 800-meter to claim the South Dakota State program record at the Cyclone Twilight Friday evening.
HEAD COACH ROD DEHAVEN "Obviously, Brandon getting the record is a big deal, and he will probably get a regional qualifying mark with that as well. Big day for him. I think we had some very positive things happen in Vermillion, people stepped up, Gunnar Gunderson ran very well in the 400-hurdles. I think good throughout the competition on Friday and hopefully leads to some bigger performances next week."
