Jacks defeat NDSU to retain the Dakota Cup

MORTON, Minn. ? South Dakota State entered the second day of play at the Third Annual Dakota Cup with a one point lead over North Dakota State, and then proceeded to win five matches and halve another to retain the cup on Sunday at the Dacotah Ridge Golf Club in Morton, Minn. by the score of 8.5 to 5.5.
Steve Klock, Tim Kalil, Justin Jenkins, Brodie Hullinger and James Green all won their second round matches and Ryan Trasamar halved his match to secure the Jackrabbit win.
The Jacks wrap up the spring schedule next weekend in Greeley, Colo. at the Division I Independent Championships. Competition begins on Friday and runs through Sunday.
