The South Dakota State Men's Swimming and Diving team lost to St. Louis on senior day 142-101 to conclude the 2009-10 home schedule at the HPER Center Pool.
Mark Sandager swept the 100 and 200 freestyle events with times of 49.20 seconds and 1 minute, 48.92 sec.
Jon Wendel, a senior from Juneau, Alaska, won his second career 100 backstroke event with a time of 56.48 seconds.
Freshman Kyle Ochsner continued his steller first year as he won the 1650 freestyle in 16:50.22, over 10 seconds better than second place.
One day after breaking the 26 years old 1-meter diving record, freshman Brad Schoreit turned in a second place performance of 251.93 points, less than three points off of his record breaking score the day before.
SDSU (2-5) will return to the pool with a double dual against North Dakota and South Dakota in Grand Forks, S.D. on Jan. 30 to wrap up the dual season.
