The South Dakota State men's and women's swimming and diving teams are set to compete at the Coyote Extravaganza, hosted by South Dakota, on Friday and Saturday at the USD Natatorium in Vermillion, South Dakota. Friday's session begins at 6 p.m., with Saturday's action starting at 10 a.m. The five-team field also includes St. Cloud State, Augustana, and Northern Iowa.
The Jackrabbits enter the invite-style meet after competing in a series of duals at Omaha last Saturday. The SDSU men fell to the host Mavericks 183-111, while the women dropped duals 231-67 to Nebraska and 184.5-113.5 to Omaha. Both teams swept Augustana the previous weekend, and 29 SDSU men and 38 SDSU women posted season-best times in Omaha. Last year, the SDSU women finished second of five teams at the Coyote Extravaganza.
