Elisa Stamatakis shutout her fourth-straight opponent as the South Dakota State women's soccer team tied Northern Iowa 0-0 in double overtime Friday at Fishback Soccer Park.
Stamatakis, now with a 3-0-2 record, tallied three saves in the 110 minutes of play.
Kaitlin Justice led in shots with four and two on-goal. Two Jackrabbits followed close behind with three each in Stéphanie Bérubé and Kayla Braffet. Braffet recorded two shots on-goal, while Bérubé tallied one.
"I give a lot of credit to UNI. They played a tough defensive game that frustrated us throughout," said head coach Lang Wedemeyer. "For the most part we played another pretty good defensive game, but we need to find goals and soon."
The Jacks outshot the Panthers 23-7, including 11-3 on-goal.
The Jacks, now 3-1-3 overall, continue their home stand with Eastern Washington Sunday at 1 p.m. at Fishback Soccer Park.
