GREEN BAY, WISC. -- The South Dakota State men's swimming and diving team fell short to Green Bay losing 162-138 on Saturday in Green Bay.
Phil Albu won the first event for the men on the day in the 100 backstroke with a time 52.06 seconds. Alex McLain finished second in the event with a time of 53.42 seconds. Albu finished second in the 200 backstroke with a season-best time of 1:56.34.
Wil Hogue won the 50 freestyle with a time of 21.07 seconds.
Ben Bolinske won the 100 freestyle with a time of 47.43 seconds. Hogue finished right behind Bolinske with a second place time of 47.48 seconds.
Connor Florand won the three-meter diving competition with a season-beset score of 283.50.
Clark Kocourek finished second in one-meter diving with a season-best score of 261.90.
Geoffrey Longhurst finished second in the 200 freestyle with a season-best time of 1:45.93.
John Overman finished second in the 100 breaststroke with a season-best time of 1:00.27.
Garth Wadsworth finished second in the 200 butterfly with a season-best time of 1:57.32.
Matt Carpenter finished second in the 500 freestyle with a season-best time of 4:44.83.
Blake Yeager finished second in the 1,000 freestyle with a time of 10:15.27.
The 200 medley relay team of Albu, Overman, Wadsworth and Hogue finished second with a time of 1:34.87.
The 800 freestyle relay of Longhurst, Wadsworth, Overman and Yeager finished second with a time of 7:07.72.
