ESTERO, Fla.—The South Dakota State men's golf team closed its fall season finishing 10
th Tuesday at the FGCU Classic.
The Jackrabbits shot a 935 (305-314-316) on the par-72, 6,750-yard Jack Nicklaus-designed Old Corkscrew Golf Club. No. 42 Eastern Kentucky won the 16-team field, shooting an 888 (295-285-308). Colonels' Will Sallee won the 91-player field, firing a 219 (70-68-81).
Freshman
Alejandro Restrepo is tied for 23rd after shooting a 229 (70-78-81). He collected five birdies for the tournament.
Sophomore
Alejandro Perazzo is tied for 34th, firing a 232 (81-74-77). Senior
Grant Smith made the biggest move, jumping from tied for 69
th to tied for 46
th after shooting a final-round 74 (80-82-74=236).
Sophomore
Jaxon Lynn is tied for 65th (78-80-84=242). Junior
Michael Duch shot a 250 (77-83-90) and is tied for 80th.
Playing as an individual, senior
Trevor Tobin tied for 68
th (82-79-82=243).
