RAYMORE, Missouri—The South Dakota State men's golf team finished ninth Tuesday at the Bill Ross Intercollegiate hosted by UMKC.
The Jackrabbits shot a three-round 898 (301-296-301) on the par-72, 7,156-yard Creekmoor Golf Club course. Grand Canyon won the 12-team event, shooting a four-over par 868 (286-287-295). The Lopes' Jake Chanen was medalist in the 72-player field, shooting a six-under par 210 (66-7173).
Sophomore
Jaxon Lynn is tied for 12
th, shooting a two-over par 218 (75-69-74). The Sylvan Lake, Alberta native collected 12 birdies in the three rounds.
Freshman
Alejandro Restrepo tied for 45
th, shooting a 229 (81-75-73). Sophomore
Alejandro Perazzo fired a 230 (75-75-80) to tie for 49
th.
Senior
Grant Smith tied for 52
nd (76-77-78=231) and classmate
Trevor Tobin tied for 58
th (75-82-76=233).
