The South Dakota State men's swimming and diving team defeated South Dakota 155-145 in Vermillion, South Dakota on Saturday.
The Jacks improve to 3-0 on the season.
Sophomore
Wyatt Rumrill remained undefeated in the 200 breaststroke taking first with a time of 2:22.52.
Chris Angerhofer,
Christian Offenhauser and
Weston Christensen claimed first, second and third in the 800 freestyle with times of 8:42.46, 8:46.64 and 8:47.95, respectively.
Christopher Rumrill captured first-place finishes in the 200 freestyle (1:56.66) and 100 freestyle (53.09), while
Donovan Taylor took first in the 200 butterfly (2:12.26).
Chase Petersen and
Matthew Carpenter finished first and second in the 200 backstroke with times of 2:10.00 and 2:10.87, respectively.
In diving,
Joseph Weber won both the 1-meter and 3-meter dives with scores of 295.70 315.30.
