MADISON, Wisconsin—In its first tournament of the season, the South Dakota State men's golf team finished 15
th at the Badger Invitational Tuesday.
The Jackrabbits shot a three-round 913 (300-312-301) on the par 72, 7,259-yard University Golf Course. Texas A&M won the tournament, shooting a 25-under par 839.
Junior
Alejandro Perazzo led State, finishing tied for 47
th (73-72-78=223). Sophomore
Alejandro Restrepo shot a one-under par 71 in the final round to tie for 66
th (75-80-71=226) and junior
Jared Nicolls tied for 70
th (73-77-77=227).
Seniors
Zach Sackett (84-83-75=242) and
Naqiuddin Fuad (79-84-83=246) finished 101
st and 102
nd, respectively.
Playing as an individual, senior
Michael Duch finished 100
th (79-81-81=241).
