The South Dakota State men's golf team returns to the course Monday and Tuesday when it competes in the Ram Masters Invitational hosted by Colorado State in Fort Collins, Colo.
The 19-team field will participate in a 54-hole tournament at the par 70, 7,218-yard Fort Collins Country Club. Teams will play 36 holes in a shotgun format Monday. The squads will have tee times for the final 18 holes Tuesday. Both days start at 9 a.m.
Joining the Jackrabbits on the course are Summit League members Denver, Oral Roberts and South Dakota.
Junior
Alejandro Perazzo led the Jacks in their season opener at the Badger Invitational. He shot a three-round 223 (73-72-78) on the par-72, 7,259-yard University Golf Course.
Last year at the Ram Masters Invitational, sophomore
Alejandro Restrepo recorded his first top-20 finish, shooting a five-over par 215 (71-71-73) and tied for 17
th. The Jackrabbits placed 12
th, firing a three-round 880 (288-302-290).
