No rest for the weary as the South Dakota State men's golf team plays its final fall tournament Sunday through Tuesday. The Jackrabbits are at the Intercollegiate at The Grove in College Grove, Tennessee.
The 13-team field will participate in the 54-hole tournament at the par-72, 7,369-yards The Grove. Teams will play 18 holes each day with tee times beginning at 11 a.m.
The field includes Cincinnati, College of Charleston, Kennesaw State, Kentucky, Liberty, Louisiana Tech, Louisville, Memphis, Middle Tennessee State, Ole Miss, Purdue and South Florida.
Last year, the Jacks finished 12th. Senior Alejandro Perazzo tied for 28th with a 223.
South Dakota State finished seventh at The Jackrabbit Tuesday. Junior Jacob Otta led the team, tying for 16th, the best finish of his career.
Senior Jared Nicolls leads the Jackrabbits with a 73.22 stroke average and ranks ninth in The Summit League. Otta has a 74.56 stroke average.
The Jackrabbits' scoring average is 295.56 and ranks sixth in The Summit League.
