Five members of the South Dakota State diving team are set to compete at the NCAA Zone Diving Championship March 5-7 in Minneapolis, hosted by Minnesota.
"NCAA zones is definitely a challenging environment with a longer format than we typically experience," diving coach
Elyse Brouillette said. "But I am happy with the progress we have made this season and believe we are ready to take on the challenge and have a successful final meet of the season."
The Lineup
Senior
Emily Moore and
Parker Brown are making their first appearance at the competition. Moore qualified on 1-meter with a 290.93 when the Jacks hosted Omaha. Brown qualified at the USD Tri-Duals with a 336.80 on 3-meter.
Junior
Joseph Weber qualified for his third-consecutive time with a scores of 352.50 and 349.35 on the 1-meter and 3-meter, respectively.
Alex Crow and
Mitchell Raihle are making their second appearance at zones. This is Raihle's first appearance with the Jacks. He qualified the first meet as well with a school-record score of a 353.85 on 3-meter. Crow rounded out the team when he qualified with a 323.93 at St. Cloud State.

Men's 3-meter: 5:30-8 p.m.

Women's 3-meter: 11 a.m.-2:30 p.m.
Men's 1-meter: 5:30-8 p.m.
NCAA Qualifications
In order to continue on past zones, the women must place in the top 11 on the 1-meter and top nine for the 3-meter. On the men's side, they must make the top nine for 1-meter and top eight for 3-meter.
