The South Dakota State men's golf team continues spring play as it hosts the 11th-annual Jackrabbit Invitational Friday and Saturday in Boulder City, Nev.

The Jackrabbits, who tired for sixth in its event last season, will host 12 teams at the par-72, 7,402-yard Boulder Creek Golf Club. The front nine will be played on the Coyote Run course and back nine on the Desert Hawk course. Teams will golf 36 holes on Friday and 18 on Saturday with a shotgun start beginning at 9:15 a.m. CT/ 7:15 a.m. PT each day.

In addition to South Dakota State, the field includes: Augustana, Boston College, Fraser Valley, Missouri State, Nevada, Oral Roberts, St. Bonaventure, SIUE, Southern Utah, Stetson, Texas State and Utah State.

The Jackrabbits' lineup will include Jack Tanner, Harry Duggan, Jonah Dohrer and Matthew Schaefer, while Sam Batta, Noah Boraas and Lucas Schaefbauer will compete as individuals.

In its last outing, State tied for 16th at the competitive Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate. Jack Tanner led the team, tying for 13th with 214 (-2).
