South Dakota State closes out non-conference play with a home contest against Northern Illinois Friday before heading to Colorado for a matchup at Air Force Monday evening. The Jackrabbits are looking for their third consecutive victory Friday night when they host the Huskies at Fishback Soccer Park.

- SDSU ranks fourth nationally in goals (28), seventh in points (51) and ninth in assists (25). The Jackrabbits' identity has historically been its stingy defense but own the No. 10 scoring offense in the nation this season, averaging 3.50 goals per game.
- The Jacks have scored 28 goals so far this season, the most through eight matches in program history.
- The Jackrabbits entered the week ranked ninth in the United Soccer Coaches Poll West Region, up one spot from 10th a week ago.
- SDSU has gone 27 consecutive home matches without a loss. The Jacks' last loss at Fishback Soccer Park happened September 10th, 2018 against Arizona State.
- Freshmen have been proving themselves in the Jackrabbit lineup early in the season, accounting for more than a third of SDSU's offensive production. Teani Arakawa (7), Avery Murdzek (13) and Laney Murdzek (9) have accounted for 29 of SDSU's 81 points (36%) this season.
- Forward Maya Hansen ranks eighth in the nation in goals (7) and 14th in total points (16). Hansen is tied for first in the league in goals scored and game-winning goals.
- Avery Murdzek is coming off a career-best five-point performance Sunday against Morningside. She, along with her sister Laney Murdzek, scored or assisted on six of SDSU's 10 goals on the weekend.
- Avery Murdzek ranks 18th nationally with five assists on the year, tied for the second-most by a freshman. Among freshman, her 13 points are tied for the ninth-most in the nation.
- Taylor Lock is 4-0 when in between the pipes for SDSU. Entering the season, Lock had only recorded one shutout in her career and already has two this season. Her .500 goals against average is a top 30 mark in the country.
- South Dakota State is outscoring opponents 28-6 this season.
- Kayla Wisniewski recorded a career-high two assists in her last outing against Morningside.
