LARCHWOOD, Iowa - South Dakota State's
Bryson Mercier and
Tucker D'Allaird each finished in the top 10 at the USF Invitational Tuesday at the Falls Golf Course.
Mercier, a freshman, finished in a tie for fifth place. He carded a 73 (+1) in Tuesday's round, bringing his two-day total to 149 (+5). He had four birdies in the second round.
D'Allaird, also a freshman, placed seventh. He shot a 79 (+7) in the second round to go with his 71 (-1) from Monday (79-71--150).
Lucas Schaefbauer ended the tournament in a tie for 32nd place. The senior recorded an 82 (+10) on day two and finished with a 161 (+17).
All three players competed as individuals as the Jackrabbits did not send a full team to the event. Mason Weeks of Sioux Falls won medalist honors with an even 144 final scorecard.
