IRVINE, CA—The women's javelin throw record was broken on Saturday at the hands of
Nora Peterson as SDSU garnered multiple school all-time marks at two meets in Iowa and California.

Down in Des Moines,
Nora Peterson earned the lone championship flag for South Dakota State at the meet. She won the javelin throw with a new personal-best mark of 156-04.00 as
Josie Curry took 10
th with a 121-05.00.
The DMR squad of
Grace Waage,
Erika Kuntz,
Claire Beckman and
Leah Hisken finished sixth with the second-fastest time in school history, 11:31.24.
Josh Becker,
Andrew Moeller,
Sam Castle and
Will Lohr teamed up for the DMR, clocking a 10:09.12 for an 11
th place finish overall.
In the men's hammer throw,
Hunter Wallster finished 14
th overall with a mark of 191-10.00

Out in Irvine, California,
Jaiden Boomsma took third in the 100-meter dash with her new PR of 11.81 as
Brielle Dixon finished eighth in 12.02. Boomsma's time solidifies her spot of fourth on the All-Time List before she also finished sixth overall—and first in heat three—in the 200-meter dash with her time of 24.70.
Dixon then blazed into second place of the 100-meter hurdles with a new personal best time of 13.60, just .01 from tying the school record.
Savannah Risseeuw also competed, finishing 11
th overall in 14.27 seconds.
Risseeuw then clocked a 1:03.59 in the 400-meter hurdles for a sixth place finish in the event.
Jake Werner led a pack of Jackrabbits in the 100-meter dash, taking seventh place in 10.66 seconds.
Evan Henderson was ninth with a PR of 10.70 as
Drew Olson was 17
th with a 10.83 and
Carter Toews ran a 10.86 for a PR and 19
th place.
Werner then clocked a 21.51 in the 200-meter dash to tie his PR, maintain his spot on the SDSU Top 10 List and take third place overall. Additionally, Henderson (21.95) came 13
th, Toews (21.99, PR) was 15
th and Olson (22.22) finished 20
th.
James Pierce ran a 48.99 for fifth place in the men's 400-meter dash as
Thailan Hallman finished sixth in 49.01.
The 4x100-meter relay team of Henderson, Werner, Toews and Olson teamed up and took second place in the event with a time of 40.83. The clocking is now sixth on the All-Time List.
