4 JACKRABBITS TABBED ACADEMIC ALL-DISTRICT

Four members of the South Dakota State volleyball team were named Academic All-District by the College Sports Communicators organization Tuesday.

Rylee Martin, Joslyn Richardson, Rachel Wieber and Sylvie Zgonc were recognized. Martin, Richardson and Wieber are repeat selections.

The award recognizes student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. All four were significant contributors on SDSU's 2025 squad and have a grade point average above 3.5. Sylvie Zgonc and Rylee Martin advance to the national ballot for CSC Academic All-America honors, which will be announced on January 13, 2026.
