BROOKINGS, S.D. - South Dakota State volleyball has announced the addition of Kelsie Bothof to its staff as a graduate assistant.
"Kelsie's resume immediately stood out compared to our other candidates," said head coach
Dan Georgalas. "Her experience in the office, on the court, and on the recruiting trail will immediately impact our program. She's extremely driven and has a promising coaching career ahead of her."
Bothof, a graduate of Towson University, comes to SDSU with experience both as a student-athlete and staff member with the Tigers. She has served as the director of volleyball operations for Towson since November 2024 and was responsible for a number of operational duties, including travel, meals, camps and expenses reports. She also worked closely with the coaching staff on recruiting, practice planning and scouting for the Tigers.
In her two years at Towson - as a player in 2024 and on staff in 2025 - the Tigers compiled a 45-13 overall record. She has a degree in accounting from Towson.
Bothof also has experience coaching both indoor and beach volleyball with youth programs in Maryland and Virginia.
