COLUMBIA, Mo. - The South Dakota State women's golf team is in ninth place following the first two rounds of the Johnie Imes Invitational, played Monday at the Club at Old Hawthorne.
The Jackrabbits went +20 on the first lap of the day and was tied for 13th after 18 holes. The Jacks then posted a +13 team score for round two, moving the squad up three spots on the leaderboard to ninth.
SDSU's Hannah Boraas and McKenzie Mages are tied for 31st place (+7) to lead the team. Boraas was 3-over for round one and 4-over for round two while Mages went +5, then +2.
Riko Danjo is a few shots behind the leading duo. Danjo fired matching 78 (+5) rounds Monday and is tied for 47th place. Reese Jansa is tied for 63rd on the leaderboard. She carded a +12 round to open the day, then rebounded with a +2 on the second lap. Molly O'Hara is tied for 75th place (+21).
Hannah Pettitt is competing individually this week. She is in a tie for 39th place with a +8 scorecard.
Host Mizzou leads the field at 14-under, 11 shots ahead of Kentucky (-3). Kentucky's Cathryn Brown (-7) is in first place, followed by four Mizzou Tigers, all also under par.

The final round of the Johnie Imes Invitational will tee off at 8 a.m. Tuesday.
