NORMAL, Ill. - The South Dakota State women's golf team sits in sixth place after 36 holes at the Redbird Invitational.
The Jackrabbits have a +24 team scorecard through two rounds, which were played Sunday at Weibring Golf Club. The team is five shots behind Northern Illinois in fifth place and 15 shots off the top of the leaderboard. Summit League foe South Dakota leads the field with a +9 team tally.
McKenzie Mages is tied for fifth place following matching 71 (+1) rounds. She posted six birdies on the day.
Riko Danjo, a freshman, is tied for 16th place. She matched Mages' 73 (+1) for the first round and went +4 on the second lap.
Hannah Boraas was +7 on her first round, then fired a 71 (-1) with four birdies for round two. She is tied for 23th place.
Molly O'Hara is +12 (45th place) and
Samantha Stites is tied for 68th.
Hannah Pettitt is competing individually. She is +24 and in 78th place.
