HOW IT HAPPENED:

But the Jacks settled in early and went on a 3-0 run to take the lead back from the Golden Eagles at 6-5. Another 3-0 run for the Jacks allowed them to pad their lead as the two squads began trading points, with SDSU forcing the media timeout at 15-13. A late 5-0 run by the Jacks allowed them to streak out to a six point lead, one which they didn't look back from as they took the set, 25-20.

Oral Roberts fought back after a timeout, going down, 23-10, and put together a 3-0 run and 4-0 run to hold off the Jacks but ultimately it proved too late as SDSU took the set, 25-17.
Set 3: Set three pushed the momentum all the way to the Jackrabbits side, as SDSU got out to an early 8-2 lead that would forecast the rest of the set. The Jacks forced the media timeout at 15-7 then rattled off two runs of six points and four points to go up 23-9.
