Set 2: The Jackrabbits responded in set two, getting out to a 15-9 lead and forcing the media timeout behind a pair of kills for Zgonc. Omaha rallied back with a couple of two-point combinations, but the Jacks closed the door with a 7-1 run to end the set, 25-16.
Set 3: The two teams went head to head again in the third set, as the teams were tied at 10-10 after the first 20 points. A 4-0 run for the Jacks opened the gap as they shot out to a 17-12 lead. Kills from Zgonc and
Taylor Byl had the Jacks on the door of clinching a second set with a 23-16 lead, but the Omaha refused to lie down, putting together a 4-0 run that forced a Jackrabbit timeout. After collecting themselves, the Jacks clinched the third set on a Zgonc kill and a Byl and Michaelis block, taking a 2-1 lead in the match after securing the set, 25-21.
Set 4: Omaha bounced back after dropping two straight sets with a 3-0 run early in the fourth to take an early 10-6 lead.
