BROOKINGS, S.D. — The South Dakota State soccer program completed its 2026 schedule, featuring nine non-conference matches prior to Summit League play, as the Jackrabbits announced their entire slate for the upcoming season on Tuesday.Â

SDSU begins its 2026 campaign under 10th-year head coach
Brock Thompson on Aug. 1 when the Jackrabbits host their annual Blue vs. Yellow Scrimmage in Brookings.Â

The Jacks will be on the road for their two exhibitions. SDSU will stay in the Twin Cities for a pair of matches as the squad first takes on Green Bay at the National Sports Center in Blaine on Aug. 6. The Jacks then battle the Golden Gophers at Minnesota's home facility in St. Paul on Aug. 8.Â

South Dakota State's first three matches of its regular season, to go along with five of its first six games, take place at Fishback Soccer Park. SDSU will host Manitoba (Aug. 13) and MSU Moorhead (Aug. 16) in its opening week of competition. The Jackrabbits then welcome Washington State to Brookings as they face the Cougars on Aug. 20 on their home pitch.Â

The Jacks head south briefly as they travel to Manhattan, Kan., to take on Kansas State on Aug. 23.Â

SDSU returns to Brookings to host three consecutive matches. The Jackrabbits will be pitted against Western Illinois (Aug. 27), Colorado College (Sept. 3) and Idaho (Sept. 6).Â

State closes its non-conference portion of its schedule on the road. The Jackrabbits travel to Utah as they are slated to play at Weber State (Sept. 10) and Utah State (Sept. 13).Â
