SDSU TIED FOR SECOND HEADED TO FINAL DAY OF BADGER INVITATIONAL

MADISON, Wisc. – The South Dakota State men's golf team leapt into a tie for second place after round two of the Badger Invitational hosted by Wisconsin. The Jacks recorded the second-best round of any team through the first two days of competition with a combined score of 279 (-9).
Over the course of two rounds, SDSU has a team score of 566 (-10) and are tied with Western Kentucky for second place. Southern Miss is currently in first place with a team score of 564 (-12) through the first two days of action.
All four scoring Jacks scored below par in the second round as Jacob Wilson paced SDSU with a 68 (-4) and is currently tied for eighth. Drew Teeter bounced back from round one as he carded a 69 (-3) and currently is at three-over for the tournament in a tie for 46th.
Jake Olson and Ty Adkins each shot a 71 (-1) during the second day of competition. Olson is presently tied for 14th overall while Adkins is tied for 26th.
Caleb Kern carded an 81 (+9) and is in a tie for 79th after day two.
Charlie Allen is competing as an individual and shot a 79 (+7) during the second round of play.
NOTES
Two Jackrabbits recorded Eagles during round two with Adkins and Teeter both recording one each.
All four scoring Jacks on Monday notched scores under par.

The final round of the Badger Invitational will be played Tuesday.
