Allie Kreindler joined the South Dakota State University equestrian coaching staff in the fall of 2022 as jumping seat coach.
During the 2023-24 season, Kreindler mentored Julia Werkhoven, who earned NCEA All-America recognition in flat. Werkhoven also was an all-ECACÂ and a recipient of the ECAC Equestrian Sportsmanship Award during the 2023-24 campaign.
Kreindler coached another all-ECAC performer during her first season with the Jackrabbits as Ella Domenicone was named to the ECAC All-Fences Team.
As a team, the Jackrabbits won opening-round matchups at the ECAC Championships in both 2023 and 2024 to reach the semifinal round.
Kreindler has held numerous positions in the equine industry, most recently working as a nursing technician at Rood and Riddle Equine Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky.Â
Her previous coaching experience includes three years as an assistant trainer at Ballyhigh Show Stables in Versailles, Kentucky. There, she helped establish a summer riding camp program and reinstated a hunter/jumper lesson program that grew from four students to 30. Under her direction, the lesson program expanded to include a horse show program that allowed riders to compete on the Kenucky Hunter Jumper Association circuit. Kreindler also served an internship with the KHJA.
Kreindler graduated from the University of Kentucky's Equine Management Program in May 2017 and recently completed her MBA coursework through Northern Kentucky University.
