FORT COLLINS, Colorado—Freshman
Alejandro Restrepo recorded his first top-20 finish and the South Dakota State men's golf team finished 12th Tuesday afternoon at the Ram Masters Invitational.
The Jackrabbits shot an 880 (288-302-290) on the par-70, 7,218-yard Fort Collins Country Club course. Colorado State won the 13-team field, shooting four-over par 844. The Rams' Blake Cannon was medalist, firing a seven-under par 203 in the 99-player field.
Restrepo shot a five-over par 215 (71-71-73) and tied for 17th. Senior
Grant Smith jumped in the standings after firing a 72 in the final round with four birdies. He tied for 34th with a 219 (71-76-72).
Sophomore
Alejandro Perazzo tied for 52nd with a final round 71 (74-77-71=222). Junior
Naqiuddin Fuad (72-80-74=226) tied for 65th and freshman
Jacob Otta (74-78-75=227) tied for 70th.
The Jackrabbits return to action Sunday when they host The Jackrabbit at The Prairie Club in Valentine, Neb.
