PALM DESERT, California — The South Dakota State men's golf team tied for 15
th Sunday in the final round at the eighth-annual Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate presented by Cleveland Golf.
The Jackrabbits shot a final-round 299 (305-289-299=893) on the par-72, 7,322-yard Classic Club course. No. 10 Oregon won the 22-team field event, shooting an 838 (282-271-285). The Ducks' Wyndham Clark, the top-ranked player in the NCAA, shot a four-under par 68 Sunday for an 11-under par 205 (72-65-68) for medalist honors.
Freshman
Alejandro Restrepo tied for 50
th, firing a final-round 73 (79-71-73=223).
Senior
Grant Smith and sophomore
Jaxon Lynn tied for 58th. Smith shot a final-round 79 (75-71-79=225) and Lynn a 74 (82-69-74=225).
Senior
Trevor Tobin tied for 80
th (75-80-73=228) and sophomore
Alejandro Perazzo tied for 104
th (76-78-80=234).
Playing as an individual, junior
Naqiuddin Fuad tied for 104
th (78-76-80=234).
