- All eight teams have locked up spots in the year-end tournament, but seeding remains in flux entering the final day of play.

- Per the Summit League website, tiebreaker scenarios are:
If two teams are tied:
- Results of head-to-head competition between the two tied teams.
- Comparison of each tied team's record against the team occupying the highest position in the standings continuing down through the standings until a team gains an advantage.
- When arriving at another group of tied teams while comparing records, use each team's record against the collective tied teams as a group (prior to that group's own tie-breaking procedure) rather than the performance against individual tied teams.
- If a tie still cannot be broken after applying criteria (1), (2) and (3), it will be broken by comparing each tied team's RPI (based upon the RPIratings.com Report issued on the morning following the last regular season League game).
If more than two teams are tied:
- Results of each tied team's collective record against the other teams tied for the same position.
- If multiple ties still remain, then each tied team's record shall be compared to the team or group (if 2 or more are tied) occupying the highest position in the standings continuing down through the standings until a team gains an advantage.
- If the above results in two teams remaining, the two-team tiebreaker is used.
- If a tie involving three or more teams still cannot be broken after applying criteria (1) and (2), it will be broken by comparing each tied team's RPI (based upon the RPIratings.com Report issued on the morning following the last regular season League game.)

Jackrabbits' Last Time Out -- Feb. 18, 2017
  FORT WAYNE, Ind. --
Mike Daum posted the nation's top scoring performance of the year and South Dakota State pulled out a 97-89 road win over Fort Wayne Saturday night.
1,521 fans at the Gates Center witnessed history as
Mike Daum scored 51 points for the Jackrabbits to go with 15 rebounds. He was 16 of 17 at the charity stripe.
Joining Daum in double figures was
Skyler Flatten, who had 14 with four 3-pointers and
Chris Howell, who finished with 12 points and six rebounds.
SDSU (14-16, 7-8 Summit League) shot 53.6 percent from the field and hit 26 of 30 free throw attempts, adding 11 3-pointers. The Mastodons hit 52.2 percent of their field goals with seven 3-pointers and a 10 of 13 effort at the line.
A frantic pace carried the teams through the opening half with 95 combined points as the Jacks went into the locker room down 48-47.
Trailing 19-12 past the 13-minute mark, SDSU scored nine straight over the next 90 seconds to take a 21-19 lead. From there, a pair of momentum swings put Fort Wayne up eight before SDSU responded with a 14-4 run and led, 40-38, at 5:46. The final six minutes of the period saw pace of play slow, and State went to the break behind one.
SDSU opened the second on a 9-4 run to take the lead, and though Fort Wayne regained control briefly with just over 16 minutes to play, 12 points from Daum in the next four minutes put the Jacks in the driver's seat past the 12-minute media timeout.Â
FW tied it two more times on the night, but the Jackrabbits never relinquished their advantage and led by as many as eight. Inside two minutes to go, the 'Dons cut the lead to one, 90-89, but State scored the final seven points to pull out the win.
Pioneers' Last Time Out -- Feb. 22, 2017
DENVER - The University of Denver men's basketball team fought hard but came up just short on Wednesday, losing 84-83 to Omaha on Senior Day in Magness Arena. The Pioneers dropped to 16-12 (8-7 SL) with the loss, while the Mavericks improved to 15-13 (8-7 SL) on the season.
The win gave UNO the season series against DU.
Joe Rosga led Denver with a team-high 24 points, his eighth game this year of scoring at least 20.
Daniel Amigo added 18 points and eight rebounds before fouling out.
C.J. Bobbitt chipped in with 14.
The Mavericks were led by Marcus Tyus' game-high 30 points.
Both teams started hot from beyond the arc, with each combining to knock down five 3s in the first five minutes. Omaha was able to take a three-point advantage into the first media timeout thanks to a fast start from Tyus, who scored eight of the Mavericks' first 11 points.
A scoring battle between Rosga and Tyus broke out for the next several minutes, with each trying to outdo the other on the offensive end of the floor. The two combined to score 22 out the first 42 points recorded in the contest.
Denver was able to take a four-point lead by the under-eight media timeout due to some key baskets from Amigo and Bobbitt.
The Pioneers continued to build their lead due to some big defensive stops -- something emphasized in practice throughout the week. DU got its biggest lead of the night at nine after a basket from Ade Murkey at the 4:31 mark.
Omaha responded, though, with an 8-0 run to get within one after another 3 from Tyus, his fourth made triple in the opening half.
The furious finish resulted in the Mavericks taking a 46-42 lead into the break.
Rosga's hot first half kept Denver close in the opening 20 minutes, scoring 14 in the frame, more than his previous point totals from his last two games.
The Pioneers shot 55.6 percent from the field in the half.
In the second half, DU got off to a good start, using a 10-3 run to take a three-point lead by the under-16 media timeout. Omaha struggled to find its shot during the first four minutes of action, going 1-for-8 during the stretch.
Amigo got himself going after that, piling up a flurry of points to keep Denver up by four midway through the half.
Neither team could find separation, making it a one-point game with 4:17 left after another 3 from Tyus put the Mavericks 77-76.
The Pioneers came up with a clutch score late from Bobbitt, who made a layup with 12 seconds left to put them up by one.
However, UNO countered the heroics with some of its own, getting the game-winning basket from Mitch Hahn with one second left on the clock.Â

New Faces, Great Places
South Dakota State's hiring of first-year head coach
T.J. Otzelberger was a nod to the state's motto, "Great Faces, Great Places." Alongside Otzelberger, new members of the coaching staff include
Ben Walker, a Creighton hall of fame member who last coached at Jackson State,
Eric Henderson, a former Wayne State (Neb.) standout who spent last season with SDSU's rival, North Dakota State, and
Tyler Glidden, the director of operations who has worked at Creighton and Iowa State.
Rob Klinkefus was the lone holdover from former head coach Scott Nagy's staff, and enters his 11th season at SDSU.
20-Win Seasons
Reaching the 20-win mark has become a standard at South Dakota State University over the previous five seasons, as the Jackrabbits have done in four times in that span and 23 times in the program's history.Â
2015-16 Season Review
The 2015-16 Jackrabbit Men's Basketball season featured several highlights throughout the campaign, including a trip to the NCAA Tournament, a conference tournament title and earning a share of The Summit League's regular season championship.
